Dave Gulley of Houston designed his as "stitch and glue". This one has chine logs and 1 x 2 framing and thwarts. Boat has been paddled about 5 times. It is fairly stable. A small skeg was installed after the first 3 trips to the "lake" and it improved both speed and tracking.

This is the only boat like this that I have ever paddled extensively and I am a complete rookie. I am in the "by guess and by gosh" method of design and evaluation.
